Hunting for Hamilton: The Man, The Myth, The Musical
The City Club of Idaho Falls broadcast for July (7/30 at 7pm) comes from the annual fundraising dinner held July 11th at the Bennion Building in Idaho Falls.
The forum was held on the 214th Anniversary of Alexander Hamilton's famous duel with Aaron Burr and featured one of the nations leading experts on Alexander Hamilton, Joanne Freeman.

More about Joanne Freeman: Author of the award winning Affairs of Honor: National Politics in the New Republic and editor of Alexander Hamilton: Writings. A frequent lecturer on America’s Founding period, Freeman has appeared on PBS, The History Channel, NPR, CNN, and BBC Radio, among others. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time Magazine, Atlantic Magazine, and Slate Magazine, as well as in many scholarly publications. One of the nation’s leading experts on Alexander Hamilton, she was a leading consultant for the National Park Service’s reconstruction of his home, The Grange. Freeman’s latest book, The Field of Blood: Violence in Congress and the Road to Civil War, will be published September 11. We will have Joanne Freeman’s books available for purchase at the event.
