A 4th generation Idahoan, Tom was born and raised in Gooding, Idaho. He attended, and graduated from, the University of Idaho Law School in Moscow. Upon graduation from law school, Tom began his lifelong career, which has touched many bases and brought him much recognition. In legal circles, he is known as a generalist and a fine administrator, both qualities especially suited to the Attorney General’s Office. Tom’s work has mostly been in private practice, although he has also served as a county prosecutor. His legal specialties include water law, civil litigation, criminal and administrative law, commercial work and public affairs. For the last 30 years, Tom has run his own law firm, successfully trying or settling numerous commercial, tort and criminal cases.
