KISU previews the ISCS Joy to the World Holiday Concert on December 2nd & 3rd with Dr. Nell Flanders and Dr. Scott Anderson

KISU's Jamon Anderson speaks with Symphony Conductor, Nell Flanders, and Guest Conductor, Scott Anderson about Joy to the World, a holiday double-performance featuring music by Bernstein and Duke Ellington, and with a mix of traditional and eclectic favorites. Joy to the World on December 2 and 3 in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall marks the return of this annual favorite performance in a way we haven't seen since 2019.

The evening's programming features:

• Duke Ellington - Nutcracker Suite
• Leonard Bernstein - Chichester Psalms
• And many Holiday Favorites!

Friday evening: the performance will begin at 7:30 pm in Jensen Grand Concert Hall at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Please join us in the Rotunda for the pre-concert chat beginning at 6:30 pm and the post-concert reception. There will be a no-host bar serving drinks and hors d'oeuvres before the concert, during intermission, and at the post-concert reception. Please note that alcohol sales will end at 10:00 pm.

Saturday evening: the performance will begin at 7:30 pm in Jensen Grand Concert Hall at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. There is a Holiday Dinner before the concert beginning at 5:00. For reservations please fill out this Reservation formand mail it to the address below at your earliest convenience as seating is limited. Dinner will be followed with a pre-concert chat beginning at 6:30 pm. There will be a no-host bar serving drinks and hors d'oeuvres before the concert and at intermission. There will not be a post-concert reception following Saturday night's performance.
