ISU Graduate School Book Drive

Idaho State University Graduate School has launched its annual book drive to benefit schools throughout Pocatello by providing K-4 children books that reflect the cultures, perspectives, and traditions of the community.

KISU's McKenzie Young speaks with Tracy Collum and Angie Callaway from the Graduate School about the drive, a part of Grad School Gives service campaign. In the last three years, over 1,800 books have been collected to help all students feel represented. These books have been added to K-4 classrooms and libraries throughout Pocatello.

With a goal of 1,000 books this year, ISU's Graduate School will accept books through October 31, 2023. More information and links to the online wishlists at www.isu.edu/graduate.

McKenzie began working at the station in 2003 while moseying her way through her undergraduate degree in Communication and Rhetorical studies [2012]. Her outgoing personality and involvement in various activities makes for a perfect fit to promote campus and community organizations and events*.
