Jamon Anderson

Jamon Anderson has served with KISU FM since 2003 in many capacities including show-host, newscaster, announcer, board operator, production specialist, engineering assistant, automation and programs manager. He is currently KISU's General Manager.

  • Symphony Conductor Nell Flanders and visiting artist Jeffrey Biegel join KISU's Jamon Anderson for a discussion about the final ISCS performance of the season. The symphony will perform works by Grieg, Lowell Liebermann, Jessie Montgomery, and Ottorino Respighi on April 22nd at the ISU Performing Arts Center.

  • The Idaho State Civic Symphony will kick off its 2022-23 classical concert series season, themed Notes from New York, with the performance titled Meet Me in New York on September 23rd at 730 pm at the Performing Arts Center. Nell Flanders and Shandra Helman joined us at KISU for a conversation and concert preview.
  • Kevin’s Run for Funds is a 5K run/walk event that raised more than $28,000 for student scholarships in 2021. In 2022 the event is open to all community members in addition to Idaho State university employees with all net proceeds going directly into a permanent scholarship endowment. Registered participants will also receive a ticket to the home football game later the same day at 1:00 pm.
  • Adam Reader, a native of East Idaho now living in Utah, has interviewed over 600 legends of rock. With over 1 million weekly viewers and a half-million subscribers, he is widely known on Youtube and in popular-music circles as the Professor of Rock. Reader will be presenting the two-day workshop titled Monetizing your Passion.
  • KISU’s Jamon Anderson speaks with Ron Bollinger and Dr. Eddie Ludema about the final Idaho State Civic Symphony performance of the 2021/22 season, titled In Full Bloom, happening April 29th at 7:30 pm at the ISU Performing Arts Center.
  • Today is Bengal Giving Day, and the campaign officially kicks off for 1901 minutes, at 9 am and runs through 4:41 on tomorrow, April 11th. To help raise funds for KISU-FM, Justin Arias and the folks at Off the Rails will be offering a complimentary drink to those who pledge online or in-person to KISU during the Bengal Giving Day event!
