Episode 21: Larry Davis and Lee Cagley are Nevada’s first domestic partnership and have been happily married for 15 years

Dan speaks with his uncles’ Larry Davis and Lee Cagley who have been happily married for 15 years. While living and working in Las Vegas, they met during a social event where Larry and Lee found common ground. Individually, both men had given up on a chance at finding true love. They had both experienced the challenges of failed relationships and ironically drafted up individual lists complete with character traits they both wanted to find in a partner. As love would have it, Larry was able to make an appointment with Lee’s assistant to finally date the man who would eventually become his husband. Together as a couple, Larry and Lee would go on to make history as the first legally married couple to be recognized and receive domestic partnership status in the silver state, Nevada. Meet the husband of the husband, Larry Davis and Lee Cagely.
