Originally from New Zealand, Irene started her academic career in chemistry and statistics before adding in her interest in public health. This background has helped her bring a unique perspective to the field of public health, where she brings her passion for statistics to her students. Irene has traveled extensively, followed her interests and landed in a fulfilling job where she inspires others.

A self proclaimed multipotentialite, Emily's professional journey has taken her from for-profit to non-profit to higher ed where she currently enjoys her time.
