ROAR Report! E-Sports Coach Charles Johnston and Broadcaster Abigail Janicek!

Join Ben this time on Roar Report where he explores the world of E-Sports with Coach Johnston and Abigail Janicek. Topics like competitive gaming, team practice, broadcasting, and how both Coach Johnston and Abigail got involved in E-Sports are all covered in this episode.

The ISU E-Sports program is off to a roaring start! Both Coach Johnston and Abigail have extensive backgrounds in gaming an E-Sports world. Coach Johnston talks about his experiences as a traveling Call of Duty player before becoming a coach. Johnston has traveled all over the country as a player, and he even traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to compete in the E-Sports World Cup. Abigail talks about her duties as a broadcaster, and how back in the 2022-23 school year at ISU, she attempted to start up the E-Sports program by making an intramural. After some time through consistent efforts the E-Sports program was finally launched this year.
