After graduating with his Bachelor's, Jordan now works in the environmental field as the lead fundraiser and project manager for Vive North West in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Johnson also discusses the ISU experience with Jordan, including how he came into the political science department and how his interest in environmental advocacy and conservation blends with the major. Combining his passions into the niche of public connection to the environment, Jordan discusses how he shifted undergraduate class material to be most applicable to his career path.
This conversation also includes tips and tricks for the political science major, such as discussing with professors the different ways the major can be morphed to fit the individuals' specialties and getting involved in clubs and organizations which pique your interest. Jordan touches on "life after ISU" and what it means to apply your undergraduate work into the working world.
