KISU-FM Seeks Interview Participants for Radio Series Examining Mental Health & Addiction

KISU-FM and a team of student-reporters with Idaho State University Biological Sciences Department would like your help with a radio series examining mental health. Please contact us at whitjes7@isu.edu if you or someone you know is both impacted and willing to speak with one of our science reporters about the following:

1. Opioid addiction and recovery (during the COVID-19 emergency/how this situation makes it harder or easier for people to recover)
KISU would like to hear from those whose life has recently been touched by opioid addiction directly or indirectly (maybe a family member or friend). We'd like to know how self isolation impacts someone recovering from opioid addiction if possible.
*Participants can choose to remain anonymous

2. Peer support groups and mental health
KISU wishes to interview those whose mental health have benefited from support groups. This could be a group for people experiencing loss of a loved one, people recovering from substance abuse, cancer recovery, people who engage in a type of hobby together that affects their mental health, or a virtual support group.
