Sustainable Idaho Introduction to CSAs

Have you ever heard the term, farm to table? It’s often used to describe relationships between local
farmers and restaurants that exclusively serve cuisine prepared from local farmers. Julie Raymond speaks with local farmers in this episode of Sustainable Idaho.


 
The term farm to table expresses the relationship between local farmers and local restaurants or between local farmers and you, the consumer. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) allows families to recieve fresh produce throughout the harvest season without having a garden of their own.  This episode includes guests Wendy Swore of Swore Farms and Ellen Loomis-Roberts of Porneuf Valley Farmers Market.
