KISU-FM Pledge Drive: July 20 to 26
During past pledge drives KISU-FM has asked listeners to consider how many hours they listen, then make a donation based on the value KISU brings to their lives. This year, we are asking listeners to also consider what it might be like without local public radio in Eastern Idaho.
As state agencies and universities manage double-digit budget cuts, your pledge to public radio is needed now more than ever! In particular, budget reductions have prompted KISU’s license holder to reassess the sustainability of annual student-fee funds provided to KISU-FM.
Simultaneously, data from NPR reflects a record number of Americans are turning to public radio for fact-based insights about the pandemic, the economy, and the primary elections in November.
We are encouraging listeners to-
- Visit www.KISU.ORG on the web.
- Click on the DONATE button at the top of the home page.
- Become a sustaining member of KISU-FM or complete your annual gift to KISU-FM.
- Challenge a friend, relative, or colleague to match your pledge!
Sustaining memberships help public radio stations budget for the future and save members the trouble of remembering when they’ve last pledged.
Help us reach our PLEDGE DRIVE GOAL of 20 new sustaining memberships!
Listeners requiring assistance and those who prefer to pledge or complete the sustaining membership process by phone can call (208) 282-2688.
Remember, donations made to Idaho education public broadcast foundations by Idaho tax-payers and businesses likely qualify for Idaho tax credits and state and local tax deductions. Speak with a tax professional or visit the State of Idaho Legislature website for additional details.
Thanks a lot for your support. It means so very much to us!
