The last few weeks have been so sad for me and my family, as we watch helplessly from our home in Idaho, the devastation from the wildfires in Los Angeles. My wife and I lived in Northern Altadena for many years while we were down there, and our old neighborhood is completely gone. Obliterated in the blink of an eye by a brutally violent wildfire.
Our hearts have been in Los Angeles ever since we heard the news, and the news of the destruction has come in terrible waves. So many of our friends had to evacuate, and unfortunately we have close friends who lost their homes in the disaster. I want to dedicate this show to those friends, our loved ones who are still suffering and without a home.
So many families lost their homes, estimations approach 12,000 at the moment, an unimaginable number. There are many great and worthy organizations to donate to, which I will link below. For this episode however, I will be focusing on my dear friends, mentors, and close acquaintances who lost their homes. I will be providing a link to each of their gofundme pages, and donating a song to them and their families during this terrible time.
