Idaho State Athletics and KISU FM have had a partnership since 2001 broadcasting women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball games. That partnership is now expanding as KISU FM will be the official home for all Bengal radio broadcasts as football and men’s basketball will now be broadcasted on the station. “KISU is proud to provide radio access for ISU Athletics. This year, we gained a better understanding about the tremendous value our Bengal community has for this accessibility. We also believe this new partnership provides us a new opportunity to increase awareness of KISU and expand its listenership.” Jamon Anderson, KISU-FM General Manager

KISU boasts a staff that brings decades of experience producing and engineering live athletics broadcasts. Fans can catch the games at 91.1 FM in Pocatello, American Falls and Blackfoot; 91.3 in Idaho Falls and 88.1 in Rexburg. Live streaming is also available at KISU.org.

KISU’s regular broadcast schedule includes both local and syndicated content represented by an educational mix of news, music and discovery programs. The station also provides opportunities and employment to a number of students seeking real-world broadcasting experience.

Jerry Miller will continue to broadcast football and men’s basketball games. Miller has been calling Idaho State games for the past 34 years. Mark Liptak will continue to serve as the announcer for women’s basketball, softball and volleyball matches.

“We are excited to bring all our sports under the KISU umbrella,” Idaho State Director of Athletics Pauline Thiros said. “This partnership aligns with the mission of the University to and it will provide our fans the ability to follow the games all throughout Southeastern Idaho.”

Jamon Anderson has served with KISU FM since 2003 in many capacities including show-host, newscaster, announcer, board operator, production specialist, engineering assistant, automation and programs manager. He is currently KISU's General Manager.
