Bengal Golf Continues to Get Stronger

POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State golf continues to improve after wrapping up the Lady Thunderbird Pizza Hut Invitational this weekend in St. George Utah.

The Bengals posted a 54-hole team score of 934, 5th lowest in program history as a team.

Lexi Wilson led the Bengals at the end of the weekend with a tournament score of 231 (79, 75, 77) to finish T42 in the tournament. Her 54-hole falls just short of entering the all-time lowest list for the Bengals.

Tyler Erickson followed with her score of 263, tied for 63rd.

Ainsley Snyder posted the lowest single-round score for the Orange and Black this weekend. In the third round, Snyder finished with a 72, a new personal best low round.

Jenny Ensign started strong with a team leading first round score of 76. She finished the tournament with a score of 239.

Lindsley Lloyd rounded out the Bengals shooting a 249.

The Bengals next head to the Lone Star State to play in the Lamar Cardinal Challenge in Beaumont, Texas April 3-4.
