Bengals Announce Addition of Millie Day for 2024-25 Season

POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State women's tennis has added Millie Day to the roster for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Day, who will be an incoming freshman, is from Buckinghamshire, England.

Day was a doubles semi-finalist at the U16 British National Championships, a doubles finalist at Premier Women's Brit tour, and has represented her senior county team from the age of 13.

Day's most memorable moment as an athlete thus far has been playing at Wimbledon in the international road to Wimbledon event when she was 14, and her favorite pro player is Jannik Sinner.
Day shared her thoughts on why she chose Idaho State, "I love the feel of the university, the tennis team, and Coach Maloney. I could really see myself having the best 4 years at ISU!"

"I am really excited about Millie joining us next fall," Idaho State coach Gretchen Maloney said. "She will add a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our team. Her experience in both singles and doubles will be valuable and she is such an asset because of her fighting spirit."
