Preliminary rounds are from 6-7:20 in the Rotunda of the Stephen's Performing Arts Center, and the finals will be onstage Jensen Concert Hall during the concert around 8pm.
Basic Rules for the tournament:
- There will be both a singles (1v1) and a doubles (2v2) bracket
- If you sign up for doubles, you must write your partner's name down during registration
- You are welcome to sign up for both brackets
- Competitions will be 5 minutes/3 stocks
- Depending on registration numbers, we will be doing single or double elimination for the preliminary rounds from 6-7:15pm
- We will choose 4 finalists from the singles bracket and 2 finalist teams (or 4 competitors) from the doubles bracket for the finals
- Competitions for finals will be best of 3
- The concert starts at 7:30pm, featuring an opening set from the ISU Big Band, then the ISU Video Game Music Ensemble will provide live musical accompaniment for the final rounds to determine a singles and doubles bracket
We are asking for a $10 suggested registration fee to participate for either singles or doubles. $15 if you want to sign up for both. Please bring cash or check if possible. As stated, that registration fee includes a free ticket to the concert.
