Succeed at Debate and Succeed at Life

Dean Kandi Turley Ames talks with ISU debate coach Sarah Partlow Lefevre and team colleagues and married couple, Joseph and Alyson Tyler, winners of the final round of the CLIMB Online National Sweepstakes 2022.

ISU debate  program has had a tremendous record, winning multiple national titles, and is one of the best student organizations and collaborations at the university. Learn how debate has changed at ISU over the last ten years, including how the team is one of the first to have a hybrid online and in-person program. Debate contributes to the transferable employable skills of debaters and can be a jump-start for careers, gives back to the local community, and fosters lifelong relationships.

Anyone who is an ISU student can participate, including complete debate beginners!
