Idaho State football players Christian Fredericksen and Ross Bolger were named Big Sky Players of the Week after the Bengals’ 30-27 OT win over Sacramento State this Saturday evening.

Christian Fredericksen – Offensive Player of the Week

Christian Fredericksen had a standout game, leading the Bengals to victory over the Sacramento State Hornets in Pocatello Saturday afternoon.

The Bengal senior hauled in 10 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns. Fredricksen's 163 yards are the 5th most in a single game for a Big Sky receiver this season and 24th in the FCS.

Fredericksen's 2nd touchdown capped an 18 second, 80 yard touchdown drive to put the Bengals up 21-14 over the Hornets.

Fredericksen's 163 yard receiving game is the 4th consecutive 100+ yard game and his 42 yard long TD reception was a season high.

Ross Bolger – Special Teams Player of the Week

Ross Bolger averaged 40.5 yards per punt with two inside the 20 in Saturday's OT win over Sacramento State.

with under 3 minutes to play in the game on a crucial 4th down, Bolger faked the punt and rushed 9 yards for the Bengal first down, allowing the Bengals to continue killing the clock.

On his four punts, the Bengals held the Hornets to just 1 total return yard.

This is Bolger’s third special teams player of the week award in the 2024 season.

The Bengals have a BYE this weekend before heading to Weber State to take on the Wildcats on November 9
