Regrettably, KISU informs its listeners that there will be no radio broadcast for the next ISU Women's Soccer match, which is scheduled for Friday, October 15th. The Soccer match between the Bengals and Portland State will still take place as scheduled. Kick-off at Davis Field, Pocatello is at 7:00pm.
KISU's General Manager, Jamon Anderson, says "I don't remember ever having missed a home soccer broadcast in my 15-plus years with KISU, but these things are inevitable, even with best laid plans."
The inability to air Friday's match comes as the result of accidental damage to remote-broadcast gear, which occurred during a recent Football broadcast in Arizona. ISU Athletics has moved quickly to repair the damaged gear.
No other broadcast cancellations have been made at this time. The KISU-FM broadcasts for both Saturday's ISU Men's Football game (from Portland) and Sunday's ISU Women's Soccer match (from Pocatello) will continue as scheduled.
