Idaho State Civic Symphony Awakening Friday at 7:30 pm

The Idaho State Civic Symphony in Pocatello will hold its second concert of the season tomorrow night. This year, the Civic Symphony will enjoy working with talented guest conductors. Tomorrow’s performance will be led by Jennifer Drake of Boise. Drake is inspired by the power of music and is a conductor, violist, teacher, clinician, and music camp director. She is also the current music director for the Serenata Orchestra and the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and she is a violist with the Boise Philharmonic.

Jennifer Drake and President of the ISCS board, Ron Bollinger, visited the KISU studios this week to talk about the ISCS’s October 27th performance. The conversation focused heavily on the stories behind the composers and featured works.
