Bengal to compete at National Track and Field Champs

After Competing at NCAA Championships, Malone Headed to USATF Nationals

Eugene, Oregon – Bengal track and field student-athlete Treyshon Malone wrapped up his Idaho State career with All-American honors at the 2022 NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon Wednesday evening.

Malone entered the field of 24 jumpers at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon and battled to a 14th-place finish out of all DI long jumpers in the nation.

For his efforts, Malone was awarded second-team All-American honors. This was the second time in his career that he was awarded All-American Status.

Malone heads back to Idaho State as one of the highest decorated athletes in school history with multiple championships and individual records held for the Bengals.

6/20/2022 Update

Treyshon Malone is headed back to Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon to compete at the 2022 USATF Outdoor Nationals.

Malone met the qualifying criteria during this season competing for Idaho State and will now have the chance to compete for a spot on Team USA for the World Championships in July.
