Bengals Look to Bounce Back Against Bulldogs

The Idaho State Bengals are set to face off against the Montana Western Bulldogs Tuesday night. Idaho State has played the Bulldogs on three previous occasions, winning all three. The last of which came in 2019 due to the 2020 matchup being canceled for COVID. Tip will be at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym. Jerry Miller will call the game on KISU. Dylan Carder will call the game on ESPN +.

Southern Utah Recap

The Idaho State men's basketball team squared off against the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds on Saturday night falling short 69-59.

Miguel Tomley led Idaho State with 23 points on 8-of-20 shooting while tallying four assists and four rebounds. Austin Smellie finished with 11 points while Brock Mackenzie and Jared Rodriguez added nine points a-piece. ISU shot 38 percent for the game and 32 percent from deep while Southern Utah shot 40 percent from the field and 25 percent from deep. The Thunderbirds doubled the Bengals up in points in the paint, 24-12, proving to be a key difference in the game.
