POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball fell to the Loyola of Chicago Ramblers 56-44 Wednesday afternoon in Orlando, Florida at the UCF Christmas Classic.
The Bengals head into conference play with a 5-6 record after a tough slate of non-conference contests.
The first half was a back-and-forth affair with ISU winning the first quarter and Loyola winning the second, ushering the teams into the locker room tied 19-19.
In the third, the Ramblers were able to pull away and hold onto the lead for the remainder of the contest, winning the game 56-44.
Finley Garnett led the Bengals in the game, scoring 13 points on five-of-nine shooting from the floor with three three-pointers made.
For the second-straight game, Cam Collman had a career-high, scoring 11 points and shooting three-of-four from three-point range.
In five out of her last six games, Laura Bello had double-digit boards, grabbing 11 off of the glass against the Ramblers.
