POCATELLO, Idaho — Idaho State track and field sets out to start their 2023 indoor season this weekend when they travel to Provo, Utah January 12-14 to compete at the BYU Cougar Invitational.
The Bengals head into this meet ranked 4th for both Men's and Women's teams in the Big Sky Conference preseason coaches polls. At the meet the Bengals will get to compete alongside Weber State, who had both their Men's and Women's teams ranked 5th in the Big Sky Conference preseason coaches polls.

This event is non-ticketed, admission is free of charge and public seating will be available on the west side of the Smith Fieldhouse.
Teams competing include: Idaho State, BYU, College of Southern Idaho, Salt Lake Community College, Southern Utah, Utah State, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, Weber State, Westminster
INDOOR SCHEDULE PREVIEW
Following the season opening meet in Provo, Idaho State track and field will compete at the Montana State Dual #1 Jan. 20-21 before hosting their first home meet the following weekend in Holt Arena.
The Bengals will then travel to the Washington State Invitational and then back to Bozeman for the Montana State Dual #2 before competing at the Big Sky Indoor Championships in Moscow, Idaho Feb. 23-25.
