POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State women's basketball have announced the signing of Ioanna Stefanaki to the team for the 2023-24 season.
Ioanna comes to the Bengals from Crete, Greece where she has been playing for the Greece national team. Since the age of 12 Ioanna has been a member of the national team and most recently was playing for the U17 squad.
With her club team, in Thessaloniki, Greece Ionna set multiple records including most made three-pointers in a regular season, and is 3rd all-time in made three-pointers for the team.
"We are really excited about adding Ioanna to our team! She is a long lefty that can really shoot," remarked Head Coach Seton Sobolewski. "She will help add length, athleticism and scoring on the perimeter for us."
