Bengal Volleyball Set to Open Regular Season at Boise State
POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State volleyball will be opening up their regular season with a pair of matches against Boise State. The first is an away match in Boise on Friday, August 25th, and the second match is home in Pocatello on Sunday, August 27th and 4 p.m. Boise State has won the last 5 of 6 matchups against Idaho State, with the Bengals' last victory against the Broncos coming in 2015.

The Bengals play their first home match of the season on Sunday, Aug. 27th, hosting the Boise State Broncos in a Sunday matchup. The first set is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at Reed Gym. Following this match the Bengals will take off for their tournament at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

- The Broncos return three of their four leaders in kills from last season including Paige Bartsch, a junior opposite hitter, who led the Broncos last year with 419 kills.
- Boise State brings back one of their top setters, sophomore Elle Cotton, who was second in assists last season for the Broncos with 236.
- Broncos' junior Paige Bartsch was also top three on the team last season on the defensive end, finishing the year with 235 digs.
- Boise State will be tough to score on this season they also return four of their five leaders in blocks from last year including their top three blockers Chey Day (102), Annie Kaminski (95), and Paige Bartsch (78).
