Pocatello, ID - For the first two weeks of the 2024 outdoor season, Idaho State Track and Field would split up the squads and take their talents to two places at once. Week Three will feature the same, but with a twist.
The Bengals are heading south as a unit but will still compete in two separate places over the weekend, at the Weber State/Utah Spring Classic, a two-day meet hosted jointly by the two titular institutions, featuring a portion of events held at each one over the course of the weekend.
The first day of the meet will take place at Weber State in Ogden, UT on Friday, April 5. After that, the Bengals will make the 45-ish minute drive south to Salt Lake City for Day 2 at the University of Utah on the 6th. The events will be split between the two days, with only the 100m dash being held at both.

Big Sky Preseason Polls
Earlier this week, the Big Sky Conference released the preseason polls for the outdoor season. Northern Arizona was selected to finish atop the league in both ballots, receiving 19 of 20 combined first-place votes between the men and women.
The Bengal women were tabbed to finish at third place in the conference, the same spot they landed at by the end of the indoor season following a seventh-place prediction in the indoor preseason polls.
The men's team placed sixth in the outdoor polls, the same as their slot in the indoor preseason polls as well as where they ended the slate at.
