Pocatello, ID - After a Week 3 slate that was unfortunately cut short due to weather, what better place to go for Week 4 than the Golden State?
Fortunately for the Bengals, sunny southern California is where they are headed. However, while most people visit Los Angeles County to see the sights and the people who make their favorite films, Idaho State Track and Field is preparing to put on a show of their own.
Week 4 will feature three separate meets over three days in two different cities. The Bengals will send one group to Azusa, CA, to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational from Thursday to Saturday, April 11-13. The first two days will primarily feature the heptathlon and decathlon events, with the final day including short sprints, relays, pole vault, throws, and more.
The other groups of Bengals will be heading across the county to Long Beach for the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate and Long Beach Invitational meets. If you'd guessed that Long Beach State was the host school, you'd be right on the money.
The meets will run from April 11-13 between them, with the one-day Pacific Coast meet on Thursday followed by the Long Beach Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
