Each year, the International Affairs Council plans and runs the Frank Church Symposium, an entirely student-led and funded event that brings global perspectives to Idaho State University. KISU sat down with representatives from the Council to discuss what the event means for the ISU community and how this year’s symposium is extra special.

This year, the theme of the symposium is Women Today: Politics, Perceptions, and Power. The International Affairs Council told us about this choice of theme and their exciting guest speakers.

Attend the event April 3-4th either in person or online via Zoom.

Make sure to visit their website at https://www.isu.edu/frankchurchsymposium/
and view the 2025 symposium schedule to find which panels interest you and attend in support of the International Affairs Council as they work to broaden the ISU student perspective with guests from across the globe.

You can also find them on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn at Idaho State University International Affairs Council.
