Student's in ISU's medical assisting program go through class instruction on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

This event enables EMT students to apply their skills in a mass casualty scenario. The EMT students utilize their skills to establish a command and triage the wounded while practicing patient care and transport. The event consists of two mass casualty situations. Everyone has acting roles, mockups or not. The program welcomes and needs all ages. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.

While we welcome people of all ages, this is a very realistic scenario that includes people screaming and yelling. The injuries and situations look very real and lifelike. Please consider these factors when deciding if you or someone else considering attending would be adversely affected by participating.

Volunteers are needed at various times from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Please fill out the ISU EMT Mass Casualty Participation form:
