Tori Parkin

Station Engineer - Web Site Admin

Tori is the radio station engineer for KISU FM 91 and is KISU.org's webmaster.

Tori started in broadcasting in high school producing a TV Show that aired weekly on a public access station. He has been a DJ and producing sound reinforcement for events and concerts since 1993 and has owned his own company since 1996.

His first radio job was at KLCE Classy 97 as an announcer and board operator in 2007.

With a move to Salt Lake City Tori was involved with preparations in broadcasting for the 2002 Olympics. He worked closely with International Sports Broadcasting and NBC Olympics for their preparations to cover the Winter Olympics. He handled production requirements and logistics for NBC's Olympic Pre Event for Broadcasters in Salt Lake City and worked with Dick Ebersol and Sue Stogel among others. He helped produce the Karl Malone Foundation for Kids event and KTVX Ch 4 - KISN 97 Oscar Awards night Gala twice. He was in charge of the 2000 Presidential Election night press feed for the Utah Republican Party and handled A/V needs between 8 different broadcasters including KSL 5, KUTV 2, KTVX 4, KSTI FOX13, KBYU 11 and others.

Back in Idaho, Tori has worked for KPVI Ch 6 as a Tech 2.0 Correspondent and live coverage of the Consumer Electronics Show for 9 years. Added to the list recently are the National Sports Shooting Foundation Shot Show and the National Society of Broadcasters (NAB) Conventions in Las Vegas for the last 4 years.

He also owns his own business, Tech Noodle, where he manages business networks, phone systems, websites, surveillance cameras, servers and computers for many clients in East Idaho.
