Bengal Health Chat for Red Cross Month

March is Red Cross month, and Dean Conner is joined by Matt Ochsner from the American Red Cross for this month’s episode of Bengal Health Chat. Beyond blood drives, the American Red Cross in our region serves a variety of functions for much of Idaho, Montana and East Oregon.

Red Cross functions include providing services for veterans, disaster relief and response efforts, including house fires, flooding and wildfires. With the help of about 1000 volunteers and hundreds of community partnerships, they are able to help respond to these disasters, touching about 350,000 lives annually.
