Following nearly a decade of dedicated service to the Idaho State University Alumni Association, Ryan Sargent assumed a new role as the Associate Vice President for Government and Community Relations and Special Assistant to the President in April 2024. In his new capacity, Ryan champions Idaho State University's priorities across various governmental levels and leads endeavors to enhance community relations. His responsibilities entail forging closer ties with the legislature, collaborating with community partners, and working alongside President Wagner to expand ISU's influence beyond the campus borders, fostering new partnerships, and bridging connections.
