Our 2026 Sandra Dee Noakes Trailblazer Recipient, Chelsey Stucki, shares her story about how she grew as an athlete and leader through her love of sport that took her all over the world! Once a basketball player for the Idaho State Women's basketball team, she discusses how much sport has changed over the years and what modern sport looks like today for our youth. As a coach of multiple different sports, business manager of Hoops Academy, college advisor, wife and mother, she shares how she balances it all while encouraging girls and women to continue to play sport even when you are scared to try.

Hello, my name is Laney Forsmann. I am a graduate student in the Athletic Administration program at ISU and I am also a graduate assistant for the Human Performance and Sport Studies Department as well. Before this, I completed my bachelors degree in Sport Management and while doing that I have been able to work with and coach with a lot of different athletes, coaches and administrators of our community. This year I am working on the National Girls and Women In Sports Day events at ISU this year to spotlight a few of those women who helped me along the way!
