Hear Her Story: Camille Long

Camille Long is one of the energetic and encouraging women that you will meet. Her constant desire to help others strive for their goals or personal best is something that is often looked past in our busy world today. Camille is a professor within the Human Performance and Sports Studies Program here at ISU as well as the head track and field coach at Highland High School. During this episode you can hear from her how important relationships have been to her and how much one friend or colleague can change the trajectory of your future life or career. As part of her mantra she encourages student-athletes to ask for help and desires success for all of those that she works with.

Hello, my name is Laney Forsmann. I am a graduate student in the Athletic Administration program at ISU and I am also a graduate assistant for the Human Performance and Sport Studies Department as well. Before this, I completed my bachelors degree in Sport Management and while doing that I have been able to work with and coach with a lot of different athletes, coaches and administrators of our community. This year I am working on the National Girls and Women In Sports Day events at ISU this year to spotlight a few of those women who helped me along the way!
