ROAR Report! Stevie Wonder Concert featuring Jonathan Armstrong!

Join Ben this time on the ROAR Report for an invigorating interview with ISU's Commercial Music Program head and founder Jonathan Armstrong! The focus is the upcoming Stevie Wonder Music concert at Jensen hall the evening of Friday October 25th!

Jonathan Armstrong is the head and founder of the Commercial Music Program at Idaho State University. He and his co-director Jenna Mclean are working with and preparing the new Commercial Music Big Band for their debut performance in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall at the Stephens Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 25th at 7:30 PM. This concert is special because it is featuring the world-changing works of Stevie Wonder. Jonathan has been working with the band in coming up with their own amazing arrangements for the songs they will be playing. The band will perform 10 Stevie Wonder songs each with their own unique arrangement. It will certainly be a night to remember!

Ben Graham was born and raised in Washington State. He and his family moved to Boise Idaho in 2018, and he started his first year at ISU fall of 2022. He is currently a Junior in the Commercial Music program directed by Prof. Jonathan Armstrong. Ben has a strong interest in composing, performing, and studying music of all genres! Ben loves his job as an ASISU KISUFM Radio Engineer/Editor/Producer, as well as ASISU KISU-FM and Newspaper. Outside of school and work, Ben enjoys time with family/friends, playing Jazz piano, outdoor activities, cooking, and auto mechanics.
