Clean sources of energy such as solar power are key to a sustainable future. On the Idaho Nevada border the power of the sun could be harnessed to better the lives of people living on the Duck Valley Reservation. The winners of the Rotary Eco Video Contest will be announced at Saturday’s upcoming Environmental Fair. The Fair located at Lookout Point in Pocatello will be open from 11 to 3 pm. The winning videos will be shown during the fair in the Marshal Public Library. In addition to the video contest, the fair has live music, a recycled sculpture contest, an illustrated poem contest and a poster contest. Come and enjoy free food from 11 to 2pm. The next afternoon, on Sunday April 28, the award winning movie about regenerative agriculture, Common Ground, will be shown for free, once at 4 pm and again at 7 pm at ISU’s Bengal Theater. Join us Saturday April 27 at the Environmental Fair and then again on Sunday April 28th at the Bengal Theater to enjoy the movie Common Ground.
