Pocatello High School Students Presentation to the School Board for EV Buses

Nathan Gregson is joined by high school students Lauren Kumm, Daxton Gunter, Marcella Bills, Alea Doerr, Lucy Kmetz, and Sofia Velasco. These Pocatello High School students gave a presentation to the District 25 school board on why they should transition to Electric Vehicle Buses.

These Pocatello High School students are members of the PHS Earth Club. In this episode, they will discuss the PHS Earth Club, what sparked the students interest in EV buses, why the students made the presentation, what their goals were in presenting the presentation, what topics they presented, why EV Buses are good for the community, what research they did, the challenges that school district 25 may face in transitioning to EV Buses, and what grants the School District can apply for. Nathan Gregson is one of 2 Sustainable Idaho hosts for 2023-2024. He is a current student at ISU in the college of Business with a minor in music and is the drummer for the ISU Jazz band. In his down time Nathan loves to spend time outside doing activities such as hiking and camping. In doing this radio show Nathan is able to express his love for nature and help the community take better care of it. His life goal is to run his own private Drum and Piano lessons in Denver, Colorado.
