PHOTO COURTESY OF IDAHO CLIMATE JUSTICE LEAGUE

On today’s episode, Madison talks with Amanda Reed, the Idaho Chapter Organizer at the Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is the largest, oldest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the nation, starting in 1892 California. Idaho is just one of its 64 nonprofit chapters across the country. Visit their website at sierraclub.org/idaho or email idaho.chapter@sierraclub.org to learn more about their local Boise efforts and how they engage youth through the Climate Justice League.

Madison Long is a sophomore majoring in Communications and English with concentrations in Multiplatform Journalism and Professional Writing. She enjoys learning about sustainable practices within the local community and how these can expand throughout the state of Idaho. She looks forward to sharing what she learns from researching and through interviewing with field experts!
