Navigating Diversity 2.0 - Coronavirus

Kicking off Navigating Diversity 2.0, Host Krystoff Kissoon and guest Julie Raymond, ISU graduate student pursuing a Doctor of Arts in Political Science, discuss the development of the Coronavirus pandemic as of March 12th, 2019. The intention behind this episode is to process the reality and implications of COVID-19 for the U.S. and the world from an ISU Political Science student perspective, in the hopes that it will help members of the public process their own thoughts and feelings.

Nyele (Nye) Alvarez is a junior studying Public Relations and Advertising in the Commication, Media, and Persuasion department at Idaho State University. She is currently the student president for ISU's Advertising Federation and is preparing to compete in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) in Portland, Oregon this April. Nye is also the senator for the Associated Students of Idaho State University's (ASISU) College of Arts and Letters, serving as Chair of the Diversity and Outreach committee as well as the Senate Pro-Tempore during her terms. She has written legislation and organized events to advocate for POC, LGBTQ+, Non-Traditional, and International students while fighting for the rights of all students, faculty, and staff of Idaho State University.
