Scott Greeves sits down with Kathy Olsen to discuss the role of the Pocatello Free Clinic in the community and the upcoming ‘Rake a Difference Campaign’.
The ‘Rake a Difference Campaign’, which is happening on November 6th and 7th and November 13th and 14th, will raise money for the Pocatello Free Clinic which works to provide health and dental care for the medically under-served of Southeast Idaho.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Pocatello Free Clinic has expanded its services and now offers Covid-19 tests and the seasonal influenza vaccine. Traditionally, the clinic has offered its services to those within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. However, during the pandemic many people lost their job or medical insurance and therefore the clinic has raised its Federal Poverty Level qualification to 300%.
