Softball Returns Home to Host Boise State in Midweek Clash

Matt Davenport
Matt Davenport has a love of movie soundtracks and scores. Matt Started work in radio in 1990 in the Boise area where he started a once-a-week, one hour show called “Saturday Night with the Movies.” In 2001 at KLCE Classy 97 he had an afternoon drive show and that resulted in a two-hour Sunday night show, Matt Davis’ Movie Trax. He left radio in 2003 and moved into television on KPVI News 6 where he is anchor for several newscasts. It is also where Matt the Movie Guy was born. In 2014, he launched Matt’s Movie Trax on the Internet featuring movie music, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

KISU-FM to air Mental Health Awareness Month special programs in May, 2025
Five new Call to Mind Specials will air on KISU in May, Mental Health Awareness Month. Each episode explores emerging research and informed perspectives on vital issues and features thought-provoking interviews with top experts, the voices of people living with mental illness, and sound-rich stories from across the country. The hourlong programs are hosted by Kimberly Adams, a host and senior correspondent for APM’s Marketplace. Read more for topics and broadcast dates.

Ricky Colapietro
Ricky Colapietro was born and raised in Alaska, coming to ISU in 2019 to begin his undergraduate degrees in Business Finance, Economics, and Management. Ricky is involved with the Honors program, as well as Chi Alpha, acting as a small group leader as well as the club treasurer. He has been working at his local radio station KVAK for a little over 4 years, being involved in many different functions at the studio, one of the most notable being a co-host to the weekly live radio show “Justin and Ricky’s Random Radio Show.” It airs locally in his hometown Valdez, Alaska live 3-4 pm every Thursday and Idaho listeners can listen to 5-6 pm MST on either the KVAK Radio app which can be found on the Google Play or Apple App store or the streaming option at kvakradio.com. The show features random facts, jokes, a holiday countdown, local news, and other shenanigans. Outside of school and work, Ricky enjoys fishing, working out, and playing video games with his friends.
