For this week’s episode, we will be listening to the Idaho State University Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Patrick Brooks. Wind Ensembles usually consist of upwards of 40 musicians, but in order to accommodate safe physical distancing in light of COVID, Dr. Brooks broke the group up into several smaller chamber ensembles. At the top of the show, you’ll hear him discuss this process, and how the student musicians adapted to this unprecedented semester.
