The ISU Research Symposium invites ISU students from all disciplines to present research or creative works. This KISU interview with event managers explains presentation formats, remote options, prizes, and walks through the abstract requirements and support resources for participants.

Host Jamon Anderson speaks with Amanda Bennett and Karissa Miller about Idaho State University’s 2026 Research and Creative Works Symposium, an inclusive event open to all undergraduate, graduate, and College of Technology students across all disciplines. They outline three presentation options (poster, oral, and creative works) and emphasize opportunities for both in-person and remote participants on the Pocatello and Meridian campuses. The conversation highlights project ideas, the professional benefits of presenting, substantial undergraduate and graduate prize awards, and guidance on preparing required abstracts, including research question, methods, results, and conclusions.

Submissions are due by February 25th. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 8th.
