Stephanie Smith is the Vice President for University Advancement at Idaho State University, bringing over 20 years of experience in higher education, local government, and nonprofit organizations. ISU University Advancement encompasses organizations such as the ISU Foundation, ISU Alumni Association, and KISU-FM.
A proud graduate of Northern Arizona University, Stephanie has dedicated her career to public service, driven by a belief in the transformative power of public higher education to uplift students and strengthen communities. Her professional journey spans more than two decades in higher education, local government, and nonprofit work.
Stephanie enjoys engaging with the Bengal community, building connections with alumni, students, faculty, staff, and local residents. She cherishes opportunities to celebrate achievements across campus, such as the annual Outstanding Student Achievement Ceremony, and strongly supports campus traditions, including Bengal Giving Day and Homecoming Week. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to fostering a campus-wide culture of philanthropy and inspiring others to come together in support of Idaho State University.
