This week, ISU Onstage will present a performance from February 9th, 2018 by the Idaho State-Civic Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Julie Sorensen. This performance features works by Mozart, Khatchaturian (caught-cha-turian), and Wagner (vagner) as well as Rachmaninoff’s (rock-mawn-e-noff) “Concerto number 2 for Piano and Orchestra” featuring the brilliant pianist Natalia Lauk.
Natalia, originally from Siberia, is an accomplished soloist, serves as an accompanist for Idaho State University’s music department, and has a flourishing piano studio here in Pocatello. Natalia is also a champion of Russian music, making this a perfect fit for her and the ISCS.
