Episode 5: Operation Combat Bikesaver with Founders Jason Zaideman & Andrew Hasty

In this episode, Dan and Sean meet with Jason Zaideman and Andrew Hasty of Operation Combat Bikesaver, a Veteran Nonprofit organization with a mission surrounding building camaraderie through motorcycle restoration. Their hope is to lower the suicide rate and reduce homelessness by providing therapeutic, hands-on, peer to peer programs for Veterans suffering from PTSD, trauma, depression, and substance abuse. Settle in and listen to how they create a soulful life recipe using ingredients of art, creativity, communication, problem solving skills and personal accountability in the Veteran Recovery Community.

Dan Miller is using his Military Veteran benefits to complete a graduate program at Idaho State University. Dan served gallantly as a Navy Hospital Corpsman in the Fleet Marine Forces. After his honorable discharge, Dan found himself redefined as a Veteran who battled with PTSD, alcoholism, substance abuse, and addiction. Dan found strength in Recovery, enjoys a life worth living, and is pursuing his MBA in Project Management.
