Episode 16: Cristie Remmel is the Founder and CEO of Blu Dragonfly LLC and a former Hospital Corpsman of the Fleet Marine Forces (FMF)

Cristie Remmel is a US Navy Veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman with the Fleet Marine Forces (FMF) during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. She was attached to Marine Air Wing 39 of Camp Pendleton, California and deployed to Bahrain. Cristie has received the Fleet Marine Force Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Globe Anchor and 2 Stars and the Kuwait Liberation Medal during her enlistment. After her Honorable discharge from the military, Cristie obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and her Master’s degree in Fine Art. Cristie is passionate about using her talents to help other Veterans and their families with her Marketing consulting business, Blu Dragonfly LLC. Listen as Cristie shares her methods for overcoming her fears with post traumatic stress disorder and finds peace in letting go of her resentments towards her ex-husband. Dan Miller is using his Military Veteran benefits to complete a graduate program at Idaho State University. Dan served gallantly as a Navy Hospital Corpsman in the Fleet Marine Forces. After his honorable discharge, Dan found himself redefined as a Veteran who battled with PTSD, alcoholism, substance abuse, and addiction. Dan found strength in Recovery, enjoys a life worth living, and is pursuing his MBA in Project Management.
