Clean Water Act Violation Funds

Hannah Sanger, the Division Manager of the Science and Environment Division in Pocatello, joins Nathan Grgeson to discuss the recent Clean Water Act violation by the Swinerton Builders, based out of California to discuss how funds from this fine will be used in Idaho.

They discuss the cause of the violation, what a Consent Decree is, how this Consent Decree will hold this company accountable, how the funds will be used, and how community members can get involved in keeping our rivers clean. Nathan Gregson is one of 2 Sustainable Idaho hosts for 2023-2024. He is a current student at ISU in the college of Business with a minor in music and is the drummer for the ISU Jazz band. In his down time Nathan loves to spend time outside doing activities such as hiking and camping. In doing this radio show Nathan is able to express his love for nature and help the community take better care of it.
